Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot & cold food items. Use deli slicer to cut meats for sandwiches. Will be trained.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed in the preparation and handling of food.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, restrooms, surfaces, and properly wash dishes.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions they may have.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels of deli products.
- Follow proper procedures for receiving, storing, and rotating food products.
Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate food preparation and portioning.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques.
- Excellent and friendly communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
