Full Time, Temporary 2-month Assignment with possible opportunity to go direct

What youll be doing
The primary function of this position is to install AMI radios on existing water meters.
You will be responsible for
Using electronic handhelds to reprogram existing meter down to the gallon.
Converting current reading wires to a Nicor connector through splicing or replacement.
Connecting new AMI radio to existing meter.
Using electronic handheld device to activate new radio.
Replace existing meter lid touch pad with new AMI radio hanger.
Other duties as assigned.
What skills & experience youll bring to us
Operating a phone, tablet, and personal computer and related software to demonstrate proficiency to complete work orders, documents, spreadsheets, emails, and timesheets.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and read, comprehend, and interpret written materials such as operational / technical manuals, Safety Data Sheets, system maps, and diagrams.
Strong customer service skills.
Deductive reasoning and problem solving.
Workplace safety, hazards, and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Basic operation, maintenance, plumbing service of water meter infrastructure.
Traffic laws and rules involved in vehicle and equipment operations.
Valid Drivers License.
