ACQUISITION ANALYST
Hybrid / Arlington VA (Pentagon)
Marathon TS seeks an Acquisition Analyst to provide support for a contract in Arlington, VA (at the Pentagon). The Acquisition Analyst will be responsible for performing detailed research and analysis and provide support in the development of acquisition policy for an Army Acquisition organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the POC for managing and controlling all staff actions and as such must have experience in a Defense Acquisition workforce program.
- Responsible for utilizing the HQDA TMT system to assign and monitor actions given to various organizations.
- Establish and maintain an effective suspense control database system and be responsible for informing the Director, Staff Actions Control Office (SACO) and required stakeholders of any delays or adjustments in suspense and priorities as well as any major changes that may occur.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree is required in addition to a minimum of eight (8 ) years of professional experience in planning and administering policies, activities and procedures within an Army Acquisition organization
- Qualified candidates must have a minimum of four (4 ) years of experience in Defense Acquisition workforce and programs
- Must possess a minimum of two (2 ) years of recent experience managing ACAT I Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE), Congressional and Nunn McCurdy reporting
- Must have previous experience assessing large-scale projects while providing high-quality analysis as well as the ability to assess changes in statutory laws and regulatory policies, develop processes and writing policy
- Candidates with a DAWIA Level III Program Management certificate are highly encouraged to apply
- Must have demonstrable advanced-level management, analytical, technical and communications skills
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts – excellent oral and written communication skills are imperative to a candidate's success in this role
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team in addition to having a proven rapport with executive-level senior leaders is required
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
