A large client of Marathon TS is seeking a Network Engineer join their dynamic team while having a strong background in designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise networks.

Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure solutions.
- Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
- Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
- Monitoring network performance and ensuring system availability and reliability.
- Monitoring system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Collaborating with network architects to optimize system performance and design.
- Participating in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Secret Clearance
- CCNP certification is required
- Proven hands-on network engineering experience of 5 years.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF)
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
