Production Packer - Ayer, MA
Job Details:
2nd Shift 5:00 PM to 10:30 pm ($17.75/hr)
3rd Shift: 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM ($20.75/hr)
Job Duties:
- Handle raw materials
- Perform packing duties, palletizing, and preparing boxe
- Operate autoseal equipment
- Assist with autopack/autocup tasks
- Dispose of waste materials
- Assist with packaging duties
- Maintain accurate production records
- Report and document equipment/process issues
- Collaborate with Production Lead and other team members
- Identify root causes and propose corrective/preventative actions
- Safely operate cardboard baler and participate in recycling efforts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area
- Adhere to Safety and GMP regulations
- Perform other assigned duties or projects
Requirements:
- High energy and a team player
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Capability to push/pull tofu carts weighing over 70 lbs
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, stretch, climb stairs, and lift throughout the shift
- Flexibility to kneel, squat, stoop, twist, and reach overhead
- Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions
