RESPONSIBILITIES:
The compensation for this position ranges from $95,000-$100,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Account for commerce and wholesale revenues, including returns reserves and deferred revenues
- Analyze revenue data to calculate reserves for discounts, markdowns, chargebacks, and allowances
- Handle month-end accruals, reconcile accrued expenses accounts, and perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Support monthly financial closing activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Drive process improvements and automate workflows for efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business processes
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses for management
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Flexible to support ad-hoc requests from senior management and business operations teams
- Ability to independently create analytical reports and present to executives
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance; active CPA preferred
- 3 years of accounting or audit experience, ideally in wholesale, retail, or fashion industries
- Proficiency in Excel (vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables)
- Experience with ERP solutions preferred (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle JDE, SAP)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
