ESTIMATOR SPECIALIST (QUOTES SPECIALIST)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review specifications and drawings, seek clarity as needed.
  • Review and advise of special processes and purchasing requirements.
  • Ensure all materials are identified to complete the final product.
  • Define all components necessary for a complete bill of material to be entered in ERP.
  • Generate worksheets and reports on project cost.
  • Coordinate with production to determine labor requirements.
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Understanding of Bill of Material and Routing systems for manufacturing.
  • Proficiency at using Microsoft desktop tools including high proficiency with Excel.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively communicate and present to all levels of management.

Education and Experience

  • 1-3 years of related experience, direct experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience using and/or maintaining data in ERP systems, Macola preferred.
