Shift Leader/Manager performs duties in accordance with the policies and procedures set by the management. Should ensure compliance with standards for customer relations, brand equity, food costs, safety, sanitation, and product preparation and merchandising. They will manage the business unit during low or high-volume periods, opening and closing hours, etc. The Shift Leader/Manager assumes overall responsibility for the operation of the business unit in the Store Manager's absence.
Principal Duties, Responsibilities, and Qualities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Has a strong focus on guest service. Anticipates and understand guests’ needs and exceed their expectations.
- Responsible for monitoring performance/customer service of employees
- Responsible for managing the sales floor during peak hours of operation to ensure courteous, accurate and efficient service.
- Effectively relates to Guests and other crew members in a courteous, cooperative, tactful, and respectful manner (both verbally and in writing).
- Assist in completing weekly food and paper inventory.
- Orders product and supplies as needed.
- Responds to and effectively resolves customer complaints
- Maintain all databases, and POS systems, ensuring that they are up-to-date.
- Assists and is responsible for the daily cash management functions.
- Has a passion for results by setting compelling targets and deliver on commitments.
- Makes good decisions based on analysis, experience, and judgment.
- Get the right people in the right places, enabling them to make decisions and celebrate success as a team.
- Trains new employees as needed
- Able to multi-task in a high paced environment

- Reports to the General Manager
Desired Experience:
- 1-2 years of management experience at a restaurant business
- Experience at a Pizza Carry-out and delivery business is a plus
- Experience leading a team during busy hours and driving employee motivation and productivity
- Experience showcasing excellent customer interpersonal and customer management skills
- Experience managing customer and/or employee situation with a professional attitude
