What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Marcum Search?
Marcum Search is seeking a well versed, hands on Controller for our busy client located in Nassau County.
Responsibilities include:
- Day to day management of accounting team
- Maintain tight deadlines for Month/Quarter/Year end closes
- Collaborate with upper management on strategy and initiatives
- Establish and maintain controls to safeguard company assets, ensure accuracy of reporting, and mitigate risk of error in processes
- Budgeting and forecasting for departments and consolidated company budget
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA a plus
- 7 years of experience
- Management of a team of 5
- Experience with a large ERP system; EPIC a plus
Salary Range: $150k-$175k, depending on experience
