Marcum LLP is currently looking for an AI Prompt Engineer to join their internal IT development team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in prompt-engineering. Proficiency in the use of automation tools, specifically large language model is highly desired. Relevant internships will be taken into consideration when evaluating years of experience. Visa Sponsorship is not available for this job opportunity.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of prompt engineering concepts and at least 1 or 2 years of practical experience in the field.
• Experience working with LLM models such as GPT 3.5, GPT 4, Claude, Mistral, or Llama 2.
• Familiarity with machine learning, natural language processing, and AI development tools is a plus.
• Experience with programming in python or C# .net.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional level, excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Team player with a collaborative approach to innovative problem-solving.
• Demonstrable ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly and effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

Preferred Requirements:

• Fined tuning large language models
• At least 3 years of professional experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, test, and implement efficient prompt strategies to enhance the performance of AI language models.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide prompt engineering expertise.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to improve prompt design and effectiveness.
• Continuously research and integrate new technologies and methodologies to improve workflow and outcomes.
• Document processes and results, ensuring that knowledge is shared and leveraged within the team.
• Adapt to a fast-paced development environment, responding to changing priorities and deadlines with a can-do attitude.
