Purpose of Role:
Marex has unique access across markets with significant share globally both on and off exchange. Within our Technology area, the End Point Platform Team is responsible for the overall end point platform for of the company. The End Point Platform Team is central to the success of the organisation and works with the global IT teams in Asia, Europe, MENA and North America to monitor and maintain infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and service delivery to the business.
The End Point Platform Engineer is responsible for supporting and applying specialist knowledge to the overall engineering and provisioning of solutions to the organisation’s end user devices to ensure services are secure and resilient, as well as providing the ability to enhance productivity and efficiency for our Global workforce. Innovation is key to this roll to ensure modern capabilities are considered and where necessary embedded within the organisation.
The End Point Platform Team are the “technical owners” of the End Point Platform team and are responsible for the design, implementation and operation of the platform, this includes O365 products, desktop and laptop build, mobile device integration and the delivery of software and patches.
Responsibilities:
• Innovate and support the effective delivery and continuous evolution of the following components of the organization’s EndPoint Platforms:
o Corporate Build image and deployment process
o End User Device Patching
o Device Operating System
o Software/package delivery
o VPN client integration
o Microsoft M365
o Intune MDM
o Windows Autopilot
o Mobile integration
o BYOD integration
o AWS Workspaces
o End User Group Policies
o Meeting Room end point devices
• Ensuring the team accurately log, update and resolve all escalated Incidents, Service requests and Changes in the Service Desk system (JIRA).
• Ensuring controls across end points are effective, including resiliency, security and operational monitoring.
• Remain at the forefront of emerging end-user technologies, and proactively prepare to present them to the management team for discussion. Engage in identifying and discussing potential use cases for integrating these technologies within Marex.
• Create and maintain documentation for hardware and software configurations, issue resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
• Developing relationships with the business to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and licensed product functionality is being maximised across the organisation
• Ensuring Global standards are implemented and any exception requests managed
• Aligning working practices to ITIL framework where appropriate
• Working closely with other Technology departments to ensure smooth transition into production of new services.
• Manage and work closely with IT and Advocates on new systems/changes.
• Supports the management of relationships with vendors, coordinates renewals and identifies cost/value optimisation initiatives that meet the organisation’s objectives
• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

Skills and Experience
• Previous experience of working in the Banking/Finance sector is essential
• Previous experience of working in the trading/exchange sector is highly desirable
• Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified Endpoint Manager
• 5 years Standard Microsoft Technologies – M365, Windows 10
• 5 years Microsoft Active Directory (DNS/DHCPs/GPOs etc.)
• MS Intune, Endpoint Central, LanSweeper, Mimecast, Atlassian
• Familiarity with endpoint security solutions, remote desktop tools, and mobile device management (MDM) platforms.
• Preferably degree educated in a BEng/BSc or equivalent
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Working knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Working knowledge of ITSM/ITIL methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
