The Spa Director is responsible for the establishment and execution of clear short-term and long-term goals to ensure the spa is recognized as one of the finest resort spas in Southwest Florida!

Essential Job Expectations:

• Spa Operations: Manage day-to-day spa operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of all departments, such as the front desk, treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and facilities.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise spa staff, including therapists, receptionists, and support personnel. Provide leadership and guidance to maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service delivery by implementing and maintaining high-quality standards. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively and professionally.
• Financial Management: Develop and manage the spa budget, including revenue targets, expenses, and cost control measures. Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
• Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients, retain existing ones, and promote spa services. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and strategies.
• Inventory and Supplies: Manage inventory levels and ensure an adequate supply of spa products, equipment, and supplies. Coordinate with vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain inventory control procedures.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Implement proper sanitation and hygiene practices throughout the spa.
• Spa Menu and Services: Collaborate with spa therapists to develop and update treatment menus and service offerings. Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new services or enhancements to meet customer demands.
• Staff Development and Training: Identify training needs and organize professional development programs for spa staff. Encourage skill-building and create opportunities for career growth.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain high service quality and standards. Implement improvement plans based on feedback and reviews.
• Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Network within the industry to stay updated on market trends and potential partnerships.
• Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties, such as hiring, recognition, and corrective action.
• Development of facility staffing plans

What you will Bring:

• Bachelors Degree (Business Administration)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a management position in a spa or related field
• Experience in the hospitality industry
• Desire to provide phenomenal Guest experiences.
