Medical Assistant
Duties:
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments and procedures
- Scribe and record patient information into an EHR (Electronic Health Record)
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Provide patient education and instructions for at-home care
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant training program or relevant certification (REQUIRED)
- Previous experience working as a medical assistant in aesthetics preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
