$30 - $40/hour depending on experience

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Service Technician to join our team and maintain our heavy equipment fleet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and brake adjustments.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure that all equipment meets safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Communicate with the Fleet Manager to order parts and schedule repairs as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Fleet Mechanic or similar role.
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail and safety procedures.
