What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Experience Specialist position at Mariano's?

Responsible for demonstrating a love of food and passion for people that includes incredible Customer Service and performance excellence through department knowledge and technical expertise. As a General Member, he/she promotes and delivers a shopping experience focused on providing customers the level of service to which we have publicly committed by providing efficient service through hands-on daily activities. The General Member adheres to organizational procedures, policies and systems including food quality standards and food safety and sanitation guidelines.

2. Process Focus – Delivers standard of disciplined, high quality, high paced daily working and shopping conditions.

 Maintains high cleanliness standards – clean as you go, inclusive of washing, cleaning, sweeping, mopping throughout store and exterior as needed

 Assists as needed in departments including shopbacks

 Efficient blocking and facing of departments

 Demonstrates high level of operational execution

 Fast paced and exhibits sense of urgency

 Conducts product Sales Events (Demos)

3. Performance Focus – Assists financial results in Sales and Supplies and Shrink Management.

 Accomplished SELLING skills results in additional Sales

 Handles product appropriately to reduce shrink

 Utilizes appropriate supplies to reduce costs

4. Planning Focus –

 Plans work duties appropriately during scheduled shift to accomplish all assigned tasks

 Identifies department opportunities during scheduled shift and responds accordingly Functional Requirements:

 Interpersonal Skills – Mental– demonstrated success in the areas of energy, initiative, judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction memorization, reading, writing, math, effective communications, problem solving

 Product Skills – general knowledge of Grocery product

 Process Skills – demonstrated understanding of all General Member functions

 Analytical Skills – basic understanding of math

 Physical Skills – Frequent - ability to lift/carry 40 to 80 lbs., push/pull 70 to 650 lbs., turning, standing, reaching, stooping/bending, kneeling, walking.  Physical Skills – Occasional – standing, walking on uneven ground, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling 650 to 1000 lbs.

 Education or Experience – Minimum High school education or currently enrolled

 Environmental – Exposure to outside temperatures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.20 - $13.70 per hour
