Primary Objective
Responsible for demonstrating a love of food and passion for people that includes incredible Customer Service and performance excellence through department knowledge and technical expertise. As a Produce/Floral member, the Produce/Floral Clerk promotes and delivers a shopping experience focused on providing customers the level of service to which we have publicly committed by providing efficient service through hands-on knowledge of Produce/Floral products. The Produce/Floral Clerk adheres to organizational procedures, policies and systems including food quality standards and food safety and sanitation guidelines. The Produce/Floral Clerk is focused on driving sales through suggestive selling, sampling and promoting sales events.

· Maintains high cleanliness standards – clean as you go, inclusive of washing, cleaning, sweeping, mopping
· Working knowledge of all Produce/Floral equipment
· Demonstrates high level of operational execution
· Fast paced and exhibits sense of urgency
· Working knowledge of Produce/Floral legal, safety, and sanitation SOP’s
· Consistent execution of all Produce/Floral SOP’s
3. Performance Focus – Assists financial results in Sales and Supplies and Shrink Management.
· Accomplished SELLING skills results in additional Sales
· Suggestive SELLS and Samples short-coded product
· Communicates code dating issues
· Communicates Shrink opportunities
· Monitors product quality to reduce Shrink
· Utilizes appropriate supplies to reduce costs
4. Planning Focus –
· Plans SELLING product for each scheduled shift
· Plans work duties appropriately during scheduled shift to accomplish all assigned tasks
· Identifies department opportunities during scheduled shift and responds accordingly
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
