Premier pharmaceutical printing company in northern NJ is searching to hire an experienced Procurement Specialist /Purchasing Agent.
Responsibilities include:

  • Purchase paper, paperboard and p/s materials for label, folding carton, and print production.
  • Work with paper vendors on pricing and lead times.
  • Research options, availability, and negotiate with vendors for best cost savings.
  • Communicate paper status with manufacturing and sales staff.
  • Maintain paper inventory.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in procurement or paper/paperboard purchasing experience; printing industry preferred.
  • Good overall knowledge and understanding of a variety of paper and paperboard grades.
  • Must be savvy dealing with vendors negotiating pricing and terms.
  • Able to think outside the box for substitutions if necessary.
  • Must be detail oriented with superb communication skills.
  • Paper inventory management experience.

Starting salary between $80,000 - $100,000 plus benefits, 401k and relocation package.
