Entry-Level Bridal Consultant - 40 hours per week - Includes Weekends

Mariee Bridal is a luxury bridal boutique located in Scottsdale with an outstanding reputation for customer service. We specialize in couture bridal gowns from leading international designers priced from $1800-$7,000 and we are now hiring for a full-time bridal sales consultant trainee to join our well established team. This will be a full-time position, with weekends required.

Previous experience in bridal is not needed, instead we look for hard-working and humble individuals with a strong interest in fashion, customer service and sales. This role is the ideal position for someone who has a strong interest in the fashion industry and wants to experience the world of bridal. You will be mentored by experienced staff, and taught the skills of a bridal consultant while learning about the industry.

Your primary responsibilities will be as follows:

• You will assist consultants with their 1-2 hour bridal appointments with our brides and their groups, where our team educates the brides on the Mariee Bridal experience and ultimately help the bride find her perfect dress and accessories.
• You will shadow our bridal seamstresses during their alterations appointments in order to gain a complete understanding of what is possible in the the alterations department of a bridal shop.
• You will receive extensive training in sales and customer service in order to be able to perform the duties of a bridal consultant to the highest possible standards.
• You will be trained to learn to answer the phone and answer questions from potential customers, and maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
• You will assist in maintaining the store's cleanliness and overall appearance. Cleaning duties are dispersed across the entire staff.
• You will assist our consultants in dressing mannequins, putting away dresses and accessories, and making sure the store is presentable at all times.

Job requirements:

• Previous experience in a bridal store is not required. You must be willing to work hard and are eager to learn more about the bridal industry. The role of a bridal consultant is physically demanding and you need a reasonably good level of physical fitness in order to perform.
• You will have a consistent full time schedule, with Saturdays and Sundays being required.
• We are a small team so team fit is essential. We typically employ energetic and hard-working individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and are passionate about weddings and the fashion industry. This is a customer facing role so you should genuinely enjoy working with all types of potential customers.
