Join our esteemed team at Marietta Eye Clinic, a leading provider of comprehensive eye care in the Southeast. We are currently looking for a full-time Optician/Contact Lens Fitter to join our team at our Kennestone location and Douglasville location. Our practice is supported by 18 Ophthalmologists and 18 Optometrists across 15 fully equipped office locations. Our offices have recently been renovated to enhance patient comfort and experience.
An Optician/Contact Lens Fitter is responsible for providing an excellent experience for patients that not only enhances retail sales but also meets their medical needs. They are trained to dispense and fit glasses and contacts based on prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists. Their role involves matching patient needs with the products and services offered. Their daily duties include recommending appropriate optical solutions based on physicians' prescriptions, accurately measuring patients, handling financial transactions, and creating a welcoming environment for both patients and our team at the Marietta Eye Clinic.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Favorable result on Background Check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum one year of relevant experience or training in optical.
- Preferably has customer service and patient interaction experience.
- Exceptional human relations skills, advanced communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills; fluent in English and able to write legibly.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching
- Ability to move throughout the office
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
