GGG- Green Growth Group, a division of MariMed Inc. is seeking a Cultivation Manager at our cannabis cultivation, production and processing facility in Illinois!

Summary:

The ideal Cultivation Manager has great people management skills and experience with automated systems. This person will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day cultivation activities and adjusting workflow and procedures to increase yields, efficiency, and overall performance. The Cultivation Manager will lead and manage employees, ensuring that production needs are met, things are in full compliance with all state and local regulations, and any procedural problems are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Equipment and Material Management:

  • Ensure all cultivation equipment and materials are stocked and maintained according to procedures and regulations.

Feed Regimen Documentation:

  • Teach employees to document feed regimen by recording E.C. and pH of feed, as well as E.C. of run-off when necessary.

Environmental Monitoring:

  • Monitor room conditions and plant health of Mother plants, clones, and vegetative stock.

Cultivation Techniques:

  • Teach and monitor cultivation techniques such as topping plants, selection for culling, defoliation, and disposal compliance.

Production Schedule Management:

  • Keep up with production schedule, ensuring availability of plants for up-pots and maintaining compliance.

Plant Pressure Inspection:

  • Inspect and monitor plant pressures including pests, fungi, bacteria, viruses, and report to cultivation manager.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM):

  • Follow IPM schedule and ensure staff wear appropriate PPE during drenching or spraying.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay familiar with Illinois Cannabis regulations and ensure adherence.

Communication and Supervision:

  • Maintain open communication with management team and coworkers, ensuring propagation staff follow SOPs.

Accountability and Compliance:

  • Hold staff accountable for actions, ensuring adherence to standards and policies.

Resource Management:

  • Manage resources effectively to meet cultivation needs.

Manufacturing Procedures:

  • Always follow good manufacturing procedures.

Other Duties:

  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3 plus years as a cultivator in a large-scale indoor cannabis operation.
  • Regulatory Understanding: Thorough understanding of the Cannabis industry and relevant regulations.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform various physical tasks including sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, and carrying boxes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
