- Title: Administrative Assistant II
- Location: Program Development @ Central Library
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
- Starting Hourly Rate: $18.90
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

A successful candidate will...
- Have an Associate degree or equivalent in job experience.
- Possess a high degree of digital literacy.
- Have three to five years of work experience in an administrative support role.
What does the job look like?
- Provides administrative support to Program Development Area, assisting with projects and program material preparation.
- Serves as the lead on branch logistical support including sending and receiving items outside the department.
- Orders supplies and maintains inventory and distribution for initiatives like the Seed Library and Summer Reading Program.
- Provides support by proofing brochures, print, display materials and documents using the Microsoft Suite or other software programs.
- Assists with preparing for and supervising volunteer activities.
- Consults, responds, informs and coordinates effectively with internal and external customers through reception line, emails and correspondence.
- Demonstrates proficiency in using appropriate software including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Canva, Airtable or other software.
- Assists in the day-to-day operations of the office.
- Able to work the normally scheduled work time for this position.
- Able to cope with daily job-related stress.
