Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
- Review and evaluate bids from suppliers
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
- Provide support in project management activities related to cost estimates

- Must have exceptional people skills
-1-3 years commercial TI doors, Storefront, glass, & hardware estimating

Skills:

- Proficiency in Construction Estimating principles and techniques
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing
- Knowledge of Construction Management practices
- Extensive research of materials.

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners

- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

- Estimates and coordinates timelines with project teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Construction estimating: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Los Angeles, CA 90022 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Los Angeles, CA 90022: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
