Raw Materials Planner

Mark Anthony Brewing is hiring a Raw Materials Planner responsible for ensuring that raw material ingredients are on hand to meet production plan requirements for both alcohol production and finished goods. The Raw Materials Planner works within the Columbia Supply Chain team responsible for developing a plan to fulfill “demand requests” from a central planning group in Chicago.

As a Raw Materials Planner, your responsibilities will include:

• Work with the Lead Brewer to understand demand for Brewing Ingredients to meet the production schedule for brewing the beer base (an ingredient in Mike’s and White Claw)
• Collaborate with the Production Scheduler to determine short and mid term demands for raw materials based on the Production Plan
• Work alongside the central planning group in Chicago to develop raw material forecasts for suppliers
• Prepare “releases” to suppliers for materials to be delivered to the Columbia Production facility
• Monitor and act on inventory levels as appropriate
• Supervise raw materials inventories to ensure FIFO compliance
• Collect and analyze data from Supplier deliveries for fill rate and on time performance.
• Work with Procurement group to raise and call out issues

Qualified candidates will have:

All candidates must be at least 21 years of age.

• Bachelors degree in supply chain, business or related field required
• 2-5 years of demand, supply or inventory planning experience in a similar role; preferred 2 years of experience in one of the following fields: beverage or packaging
• Experience with processes and data management related to Supply Chain Planning
• Understanding of ERP functionality
• Excellent use of computer and software skills such as MS office, excel (what-if analyses), word, and email.

This role will be a day shift role. Overtime or weekend work may be requested to support special projects.
