Mark Anthony Brands, Inc. is hiring a National Key Accounts Manager, Dollar & Discounts Channel to collaboratively develop and influence in-market execution through relationship building with key stakeholders, increase market share and distribution and effectively manage a budget to ultimately deliver the Annual Business Plan for the Dollar/Discount Channel nationally. Chain responsibilities will include—Dollar General, Family Dollar, ALDI, Lidl, Save A Lot, and CPWM.

As a National Key Accounts Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with national buyers at some of the fastest growing off-premise retailers for our portfolio
  • Educate and inspire internally/externally on the viability and opportunity within the Dollar/Discount Channel for the MABI portfolio
  • Connect with chain account managers and sales leadership within the wholesaler network servicing these accounts, especially the dollar stores (250 wholesalers w/ these accounts, 85 do 80% of the business)
  • Create fact-based presentations to sell programs, secure new item authorizations, optimize shelf space and manage execution of national programming and annual resets
  • Achieve relevant business objectives by influencing in-market execution with regular communication and collaboration with field sales team and wholesaler network
  • Conduct data analysis using variety of sources to assess sales results, quantify missed opportunities and monitor progress to goal (VIP Depletions, IRI, 1010Data, etc.)

  • Work cross functionally with the Field Sales team, Shopper Marketing, Category Insights & Distributor Network to align chain specific program goals and go-to-market strategy
  • Exhibit a very high sense of urgency, be well organized, possess a great attitude, be a team player and have the ability to build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-8 years' experience in sales, preferably in beverage sales or consumer packaged goods
  • Experience selling to one or more of the Dollar/Discount retailers
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time
  • Experience calling on retailer buyers and monitoring in market execution
  • Exceptional relationship building skills at all levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Self motivation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • The ability to analyze data and construct fact-based sell stories
  • Strong business acumen, sense of urgency, and attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, & Teams)
  • Great tel-sell skills for distributor influence piece of the position
