The Premium Audit Representative contacts Markel Commercial policyholders across the country as well as our audit vendor.

The Premium Audit Representative conducts telephone calls to policyholders and audit vendor to assist them in returning or completing their assigned audits, as well as notifying them of their deadline.

Representatives will be responsible for assisting Premium Audit Specialists and our Customer Service Department to assure the audits are returned with information that meets company standards and timeframes.

The Premium Audit Representative will assist with locating contact information for the policyholders and the policyholder’s agent.

The Premium Audit Rep is responsible for conducting telephone calls to policyholders and audit vendors to assist them in completing and returning their audits prior to the designated deadline.

Premium Audit Reps also assists other Markel team members in the premium audit and customer service departments, especially in locating contact information for policyholders as well as policyholder’s agents.

Completing your calls and emails to policyholders as well as general inquiries in a timely fashion

Properly document all contacts made within internal systems

Assist CSRs with general questions regarding documentation requirements

Approve deadline extensions within department guidelines

May perform small policy audits after successful completion of duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• 1-2 years of experience working in an auditing / checks and balances function (insurance experience not required);
• High school or equivalent work experience required;
• Can work independently to organize and prioritize work;
• Is able to succeed in a high volume, fast paced environment;
• Is proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook;

Speaks clearly, concisely and enjoys business writing.
