Assistant Deli Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deli Manager to join our team. As a Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high food safety standards. Duties:
- Manage and supervise deli staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot foods
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their orders and addressing any concerns or issues
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate deli promotions and events
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products

Skills:
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of employees
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service management is highly preferred
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Culinary background or experience working in a kitchen is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles

Pay: $15.75 - $23.75 per hour
