Bakery Dishwasher/Break-out Clerk is first and foremost responsible to our guests for building a reputation for Ultimate Service. Perform all cleaning and dishwashing duties including but not limited to food set-up, storage shelf stocking, general housekeeping, safety and sanitation, and other duties as may be assigned by management.
When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest
Exceed our guests’ expectation for service and build a reputation for ultimate service
Utilize and follow production systems – break-out, panning guide, bake-off chart
Ensure wash, rinse and sanitize procedures are followed
Ensure the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
Receive truck deliveries and ensure that ingredients and supplies are rotated in a first in first out method
Follow daily duties and ensure they are completed in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure the Sanitation Schedule is followed and completed
Be attentive at all times to needs of guests and be ready and able to serve and/or direct guests
Follow all company policies and procedures
Assist in training new team members
Practice safe work habits; maintain a high level of store cleanliness, organization and a safe work environment
Perform any other related duties as requested by management
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to work with detergents and sanitizers up to 4 hour time periods
Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
Bakery production of scratch mixing and frozen dough a plus
Ability to perform all physical aspects of position, including but not limited to standing, bending, lifting, and walking
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. and push and pull up to 100 lbs.
Ability to work within a freezer for up to 15 minutes
Ability to reach 5 feet and lift above head
Must possess technical skills to perform basic math
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
Must be flexible to work various hours/shifts, including weekends and holidays
Attend meetings and training sessions when called upon
Must maintain a current food safety certification
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
