Who We’re Looking For
MarketBridge is looking for a Statistics Director with marketing mix modeling (MMM) and multitouch attribution (MTA) expertise. The Statistics Director will lead project teams and play a key role in helping our clients measure marketing’s effectiveness and optimize marketing mix to drive results. This role will have ownership over challenging and multifaceted projects, while still retaining executional responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- MMM & MTA Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert, devising multiple approaches to solving difficult attribution and optimization problems
- Software Development: Use expert technical and programming skills to create solutions
- Project and Client Management: Primary point person responsible for engagement delivery, managing project timelines, workstreams, deliverables, and team members while maintaining client relationships across multiple key stakeholders (internal and external)
- Mentorship & Training: Help develop and mentor junior analysts and data scientists through on-the-job, project-based training
Qualifications
This position is for those with deep analytics experience who are looking for an opportunity to use data, research, and best practices to help improve clients’ sales and marketing strategies. We are looking for someone who:
- Has 5 years of demonstrated expertise with various use cases of MMM and MTA and hands-on experience building MMM models
- Has expertise with integrating stimulus, response, and control data from a variety of sources including agencies, internal systems, and technology platforms
- Has expertise in econometric techniques, including panel data, ridge regression, and multiple functional forms as well as machine learning techniques
- Can effectively communicate results of marketing mix projects and models to key client stakeholders, including the creation of compelling, story-driven PowerPoint decks
- Has expertise coding in R and/or Python, including specific strength in data munging
- Has experience creating reproducible deliverables (Rmarkdown, notebooks, etc.)
- Experience with version control (git, github, etc.) and modern data storage (MapReduce, Spark)
