Onsite Design Project Manager

Marks is hiring an Onsite Design Project Manager for our client in Enfield, CT or Boston, MA!

Primary Purpose

You will partner with the Internal Retail team at one of our exciting CPG clients to manage and help bring projects to life. To act as the strategic business partner and develop relationships to become a trusted resource our clients rely on to address business, design, and production challenges. You are responsible for leading and optimizing the process of retail design through the project in-take process. Partners with Retail Design team to ensure efficient workflow between the creative and executional phases in the delivery of all production files and materials on time, on budget and in line with the quality standards.

General Overview

Your business brain is balanced with your creative brain. You pose a strong akum for creative, digital and production PM experience. You manage the day-to-day work between the Retail/Marketing team, cross-functional team and on-site partners. You will champion the client’s brand and ensure work is completed as per the brief, while maintaining time and budget.

Responsibilities

1. Get immersed in one of our biggest Global clients exciting, fast-paced production and Design Culture and Marketing.
2. Implement workflows and processes to drive a faster, leaner and better business Model
3. Create a seamless workflow and energetic environment and continually evolve
4. Oversee all retail jobs- including retail hero creative, POS, Digital, Social, and other internal needs when needed.
5. Ability to apply insights to creative, effectively present and communicate layouts to clients.
6. Ability to multi-task and problem-solve on a daily basis, and connect into the greater SGSco teams.
7. Provide strategic direction/rationale and quality check on all design work to ensure high standards are met, error-free.
8. Lead project kick-offs, client meetings, ensuring smooth project work flow in conjunction with all Team Members and our client..
9. Write briefs in conjunction with the client, align on design objectives and design intent. Ensure the designs presented align with the approved briefs.
10. Optimize internal and external resources for efficiency, creativity, and design quality.
11. Ongoing - Recommend improvements in the project management design process and utilization of resources to optimize efficiencies.
12. Maintains a project status report. Attend/hold weekly status meetings with the client and/or involved partners.
13. Act as central liaison point between all involved partners in all matters during project execution.
14. Estimates will be required prior to work starting based on approved rate cards

Education & Experience Requirements

• 3-5 years proven experience in client service and Project Management, preferably in a retail design environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Graphic Management Services or Design
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with clients on brand and design adaptation and PM support
• Minimum 3 years of experience in visual communication
• Proficient using PC platform and Mac OS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Keynote)
