The Manager, Financial Reporting is responsible for managing the coordination and execution of the internal and external financial reporting process, with a focus on consolidation and SEC reporting. This position requires someone who can effectively collaborate within the department, with external departments to support our high growth rate and reporting demands. It requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to clearly communicate among various different levels in the organization. This position has highly visible and will have the opportunity to participate in several aspects of operating a rapidly growing business

What You’ll Do
- Manage the preparation of our SEC filings, including 10-Qs and 10-Ks, and coordination with our legal team with respect to the Proxy Statement and other miscellaneous 8-K filings.
- Responsible for technical accounting, internal reporting, assisting with the preparation of earnings releases.
- Manage SOX 404 support for financial reporting including but not limited to working with internal and external auditors, maintaining the company’s SOX documentation, coordinating SOX testing both internally and externally to ensure compliance.
- Work directly with Company’s financial reporting software (Workiva), become a subject matter expert which includes: maintaining the system, entering data, designing, implementing and building in efficiencies/process improvements, and filing/submitting documents to the SEC
- Apply knowledge of best practices derived from experience to assist in solving problems of higher operational or technical complexity by analyzing possible solutions using data analysis.
- Compile, review, analyze, and submit timely and accurate reporting in accordance with complex GAAP and Regulatory Reporting Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 years of experience to include Big 4 experience auditing accelerated public companies and/or within a public company.
- CPA required
- Must embrace tools and technology; familiarity with Workiva strongly desired
- Strong technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP, SEC Reporting, SOX, COS, and PCAOB
- Prioritization: Excellent project management skills with the ability to process a large number of competing requests from cross-functional partners
- Experience working in a fast pace work environment, ideally in the tech industry
- Timeliness: Strong deadline management skills with the ability to lead cross functional collaborators to an outcome on a set timeline
