Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction by maximizing financial returns, driving the development of people, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, executing on brand standards and building awareness of the hotel and brand in the local community.
- Works with Ownership to prepare annual capital, cash flow and sales and marketing plans to accurately forecast budgets and achieve required operating results.
- Utilize financials to drive revenues, future profitability, and maximum return on investment. Use distribution channels and technology platforms to drive revenue and maximize market share. Lead capital plans and asset management initiatives, including working with owners to maintain or improve the property’s market leadership position.
- Develop programs that drive improvements in team member engagement and are aligned with the brand service behaviors. Develop, implement and monitor team member succession planning to ensure future bench strength. Establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to enhance performance.
- Oversees disciplinary or staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies. Manages payroll costs and is also responsible for ensuring time edits and employee hours are accurate and are sent bi-weekly on Tuesday by noon.
- Is responsible for opening all incoming mail, scanning and sending invoices weekly to the Management Team. They would also record and input accounts payable records, credit card purchases and petty cash purchases into the hotel’s Google Drive Folder.
- Is responsible for verifying all incoming packages to ensure all orders are received as purchased.
- Is responsible for keeping accounts receivable at 80% current to ensure good cash flow for the property.
- Is responsible for managing the weekend MOD schedule and ensuring that all managers and self are always here to cover the property at 24/7.
- Is responsible for verifying daily cash drops and making daily deposits into the company bank account for all cash transactions.
- Demonstrate brand citizenship by maintaining compliance with all required brand standards, behaviors, hallmarks and license agreement mandates.
- Drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals. Collaborate with colleagues and hotel team members to establish and implement services and programs that meet or exceed guest expectations.
