- Work closely with Claims & Risk Manager to manage claim files, coordinate treatment with employees, assist with invoice processing, and work with insurance broker on claim submissions. .
- Communicate with injured workers, medical providers, other departments, customers and third parties in a professional and timely manner. .
- Provide assistance in preparation of status reports and policyholder claim reviews. .
- Prepare claims and insurance related reports for submission/processing. .
- Organize and work with detailed records using IT systems to enter, search and retrieve data. .
- Document, review, update, and scan claim related documents and information. .
- Process medical and/or property damage bills. .
- Perform other duties as assigned. .

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent business experience. .
- Prior experience handling claims preferred. .
- General knowledge of the Jones Act preferred. .
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. .
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. .
- Good time management and organizational skills a must. .
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. .
- Strong skills in database management and recordkeeping required. .
Salary : $28,200 - $35,700
