What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Agent position at Marriott Minneapolis Airport?
The Minneapolis Airport Marriott is looking for Full Time energetic and highly motivated Front Desk Services Agents with a positive attitude who can work in a fast paced hotel environment. This is a Full-Time position and requires flexible availability for both day and evening shifts (including weekends and some holidays).
We are one of the largest Hotels in the state with 472 rooms. During the week our hotel is occupied primarily by business travelers who stay with Marriott because they have an expectation for a very high level of satisfaction. During the weekend, our hotel changes hats and fills with guests in town for leisure, sporting events, competitions and travelers with the same level of expectations.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the appropriate checking in and checking out of guests is handled in a courteous and professional manner
- Operating telephone switchboard station
- Log all guest requests or issues into computer, contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Bell person, Housekeeping), and follow up with guest to ensure their request has been met to their satisfaction.
- Provide information to guests about room features, property amenities, and local areas of interest.
- Assist guests with accessing the internet
- Marriott MARSHA experience a plus!
