Major Responsibilities
- Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Auro Hotels professionally with our guests and assuring that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
- Understand and apply all hotel safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for associates and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, get medical attention if necessary and contact GM or MOD.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, as well as the local area to effectively assist guests.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company associates to foster and promote a positive working environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Set up room service trays and tables in anticipation of incoming orders.
- Retrieve check from order taker and place order with kitchen. When picking up, be certain that order is complete, i.e., all food, beverages, alcoholic beverages, and all condiments.
- Carry trays or push wheeled carts to deliver room service orders to guests in a friendly and courteous manner to ensure guest satisfaction. After set up, present check.
- Assist bus persons in removing trays and tables from guest floors and returning them to designated locations.
- Prepare complimentary fruit baskets or amenities and deliver to guest rooms.
- Have knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
- Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items.
- Remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
- Operate beverage and toasting equipment.
- Prepare drinks as required to fulfill orders.
- Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking side stands.
- Perform any general cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.
- Communicate and cooperate with other F&B Managers and Director of F&B.
- Understand all property safety standards and comply with these rules at all times.
- Work independently with little supervision.

- Comply with Company Standards of Service as outlined for Auro Hotels.
- Project a favorable image of Auro Hotels to the public at all times.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Treat guests, vendors, customers and co‐workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
- Complete Departmental, Auro Hotels and Brand standards training as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times. A complete uniform must be worn at all times in public areas, including name tag.
- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Develop and maintain productive interpersonal relationships and relate well with a wide variety of individuals, some of whom may require patience and tolerance.

Experience/Education
High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience preferred.
Certificates & Licenses

Computer Skills
POS System and others as required by Brand Standard for the Food & Beverage Department.
Language Ability
Ability to speak effectively with customers and/or associates. Ability to write clearly and legibly.
Math Ability
Able to perform basic to complex math problems.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem
solving.
