Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing all tables with attention to detail
- Checking customers’ identification before serving them
- Checking the quality of their drinks before serving any alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages
- Receive and process customer payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Comply with all legal regulations and regulations of the health code
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required
- Able to work with or around alcohol and have knowledge of the safe use and proper handling of the product
- Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, bend, reach, kneel, crouch, kneel, stretch and walk for entire shift
- Be able to communicate effectively with customers and maintain customer contact
- Be able to follow all food safety procedures
Qualifications:
- 6 months bartending experience in high paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and bill calculation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current TIPS certification
- 1 year previous bartending experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.52 - $19.64 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
