What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Marrow?
Marrow Detroit is looking for a motivated and passionate bartender to round out our team. Thursday through Sunday availability from 2 PM - 11 PM is a non-negotiable, with willingness for one lunch shift per week.
Marrow is a four time James Beard nominated restaurant and butcher shop in the heart of West Village Detroit.

Bartender Job Overview:
Our service teams primary function is to provide an intimate and unforgettable experience for our guests, by way of constant learning, mentorship and passion for our product and community. Our bartenders are active members of the service team, and all swing service roles.
Key Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Provide high level but approachable service
- Work with management to ensure appropriate and efficient policies and procedures are being enacted
- Follow steps of service and all guidelines set forth by management
- Treat everyone with respect and be kind
Bartender Skills and Qualifications:
Bartenders must have classic and craft cocktail knowledge. Familiarity with base spirits, beer and wine is greatly encouraged. 2 Years experience.
Commitment to Marrows vision and dedication to the team are the most essential qualifications for all employees. Members of FOH staff should enjoy hospitality and have a desire to learn and grow in the field. Marrow is a pooled house, where servers and bartenders split the weekly pool evenly by hours worked.
Compensation:
Bartenders are compensated at a competitive tipped wage.

Reports to Beverage Director, AGM, General Manager

Pay: $9.00 - $50.00 per hour
