What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Mars?
Key role of the Financial Analyst is to be a partner for the business to enable growth and support day to day operations. The Analyst will manage producing periodic and quarterly reporting and ensure timely submission of data in compliance with corporate deadlines. The Financial Analyst will assist in improving processes, procedures and internal controls and complete special projects on an as needed basis.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
2 years of experience in areas of accounting or finance related fields
Understanding of basic financial processes and controls
Knowledge of Excel
Process improvement experience would be an advantage
CIMA/ACCA or other degree is a plus
What will be your key responsibilities?
Control and report P&L/dedicated P&L lines on short-, mid- and long-term perspective: provide performance analysis and planning, including scenarios modeling and brining insight, opportunities and risks evaluation.
Contribute into SN&P processes, including period closing (including accruals), future performance planning and estimation for P&L & cash, reporting for different forums.
Closely co-ordinate with all functions/departments involved to ensure targets delivery. Maintain close relationship with business/functional managers to review performance and suggest/co-ordinate corrective actions, where required.
Bring continues improvement in dedicated area (sales finance/supply finance/market finance/ohds): act as project leader / project team member / individual contributor to reflect business changes in current systems and processes. Improve current tools and processes, including developing and roll-out of digital tools.
