Financial Business Partner
Franklin, TN or Newark, NJ
You will be playing a critical role in supporting one critical area of our COGS, either in the North America Logistics or Procurement areas. Digitalizing, Influencing, partnership and accountabilities across a variety of areas including: Freight Analysis, Supplier Claims, Productivity Agenda, Period-End Close Management, Periodic Forecast support and Long Term Strategy. You will be play a critical role in each of these steps and work in closely with finance and business partners teams.
What are we looking for?
· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
· 5 years of work experience with emphasis in accounting, supporting cross-functional teams or related financial roles
Nice to Have:
· 5-7 years of work experience with emphasis in accounting, auditing or Supply Finance role(s)
· Minimum of 2 years industry experience with exposure to Supply Finance and partnering with cross-functional team to drive results
· Digital skills
· CPG experience preferred
· MBA and CPA preferred
What would be your key responsibilities?
· Heavily support the Digitalization effort between Primes/LCC
· Business partner with Logistics and Commercial Operations stakeholders on productivity agenda
· Performs freight cost analysis between Mars and Supplier freight to determine better ROI, competitive benchmarking, and robust, value-added reporting.
· Participate to the periodic close activities, supports results explanations and reporting, and drives periodic insights to action.
· Drives compliance of internal controls and governance with excellence.
· Additional finance team support, solving accounting issues, research and preparation of miscellaneous account analyses, and management of special projects.
· Drive acclimation and adaptation of step-changed ways of working through influence, education and training of business partners.
