Requirement:
Applicant with clinical experience and current licensure such as RN, LPN or paramedic and a minimum of four years previous work in Quality and/or Process Improvement.

Under general supervision, is responsible for ensuring all data requirements for CMS, Joint Commission and other state and regulatory bodies is completed and submitted.
- Must stay current with all pay for performance programs, government regulations, and key health care system initiatives.
- Responsible for the dissemination of new guidelines/metrics to appropriate departments and educate staff to ensure that goals are established, measured and met.
- Assists multidisciplinary teams and departments system wide in meeting quality related goals.
- Prepares reports and communicates quality data and other quality related information to appropriate committees, leadership and quality initiative teams.
- Provides training and information sessions on quality management topics as needed
- Responsible for the data file builds within the EMR as well as the submission of these files to multiple vendors and healthcare entities.
- Effectively communicates and coordinates with the IT department as the representative for Quality’s technical interests and reporting requirements.
- Responsible for the technical attestation and submission process of electronic quality data to include but not limited to electronic quality measures (eCQMs ) and the state-mandated discharge database.
- Responsible for abstraction, input and reporting of system-wide quality data as well as improvement activities related to identified quality of care and organizational issues.
- Serves as administrator for CMS correspondence and is responsible for review and distribution of reports.
- Facilitates/assists with PI projects for quality department and serves as a resource for quality department and other departments with quality related data functions/activities as needed.
- Facilitates/assists with organizational PI projects as requested, assist in staff development and play a key role in influencing change within and across various hospital departments.
- Provides assistance with tasks related to improvement in quality of care and safety of patients focusing on data collection, analysis and improvement activities.
Education/Licensure/Certification/Experience/Skills Requirements
Requirement:
- BA or MBA in Healthcare Administration or business field
Applicant with clinical experience and current licensure such as RN, LPN or paramedic and a minimum of four years previous work in Quality and/or Process Improvement.
- Experience in healthcare performance improvement and/or LEAN methodologies.
- Ability to conduct analysis of data related to quality of care and healthcare organizational issues
- Possess strong skills in computer software programs
- Proficient in advanced use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to implement LEAN healthcare strategies to obtain improvement goals.
- Ability to coach frontline teams to achieve and maintain successful changes.
- Possess strong interview, critical thinking, negotiation, collaboration and written and verbal communication skills
