Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising associates within Merchandise Control and Accuracy Control departments.
- Educates and holds staff accountable to company standards related to Fashion, Quality, Price, and Brand
- Builds teams through selection, training, and ongoing development.
- Encourages and supports staff to think independently and problem solve to reach effective decisions.
- Establishes and develops relationships with other departments within distribution services, stores, and corporate office.
- Continually develops staff.
- Participates in the Merchandise Control responsibilities including: checking P.O specifications, ensures merchandise is seasonally appropriate for zones, ensures vendor compliance, ensures departments are adhering to company standards in regards to mix of color, size, style, and quantity, ensures merchandise is meeting legal requirements, and ensures damaged/problem merchandise and RTV’s are identified and processed according to guidelines. Ensures accuracy as it relates to auditing the production functions in the Distribution Center.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
3 or more years’ merchandise/retail experience.
A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
Strong organizational skills with flexibility.
Must be able to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to different situations.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to effectively solve problems, and make critical decisions.
Must be willing to work weekends.
