The Junior High Science teacher will teach science to 5th - 8th grade students. This is a great opportunity for a teacher who loves Jesus and loves working with children. Job Requirements:

• Minimum of a BS/BA.
• In agreement with the Marshalltown Christian School Statement of Faith.
• Active member/regular attendee of a Bible-believing church and committed to growth in his/her relationship with Jesus Christ.
• No experience required.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Science Teacher to join our team. MCS junior high students are strong in Reading and Math and are a JOY to work with! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Science and be able to create engaging lesson plans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the needs of students.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students in the learning process.
• Assess student understanding of material and adjust instruction accordingly.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16,500.00 - $24,000.00 per year
