Our Fayetteville, AR location is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the Procurement/Replenishment & Logistics arms of our Supply Chain team. This position is accountable to our Director of Supply Chain and is based out of our Fayetteville, AR facility. This is not a remote position.

Our Fayetteville, AR location is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the Procurement/Replenishment & Logistics arms of our Supply Chain team. This position is accountable to our Director of Supply Chain and is based out of our Fayetteville, AR facility. This is not a remote position.
Position Summary
- Strategic planning, assessing future supply and transportation logistics, and ensuring the right amount of product is available at the right place and the right time.
- Operate daily at the intersection of operations and leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners like Engineering, Operations, Sales, Sourcing, Product Development, and Maintenance.

- Maintain KPI reporting and ensure accuracy of item-level data.
- Establish scorecards that represent mutually defined annual goals and achieve the critical on-time/in-full, on-shelf availability, cash/inventory, as well as other key metrics.
- Anticipate and resolve issues with vendor and/or supply chain.

- Purchases raw materials and finished goods items as necessary based upon production schedules, current inventory levels, and policy as well as price and potential availability through our procurement systems.
- Negotiates and manages contracts with carriers and 3rd party logistic providers
- Collaborates cross-functionally with internal partners
- Expedites delivery and follows up on purchase orders as necessary
- Submits quotes for raw materials and purchased items as requested
- Investigates and resolves vendor-related production and quality problems
- Owns direct business relationship with small package, LTL, full truckload, and container shipping vendors and works with carriers to address issues and overcome obstacles
- Manages team that documents and drives process adherence and required record keeping consistent with Marshalltown documentation standards
- Resists all price increases, notifies management of impending changes and accepts only those that can be justified
- Maintains working relationship with existing and prospective vendors by interviewing their representatives and through on-going contact on the telephone or through the mail
- Other duties and project work as assigned; essential functions may be supplemented due to the absence of others or changes in business conditions
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field and 4 years' experience in business management, merchandising, or related area OR
- 6 years' experience in business management, merchandising, or related area.
- Previous experience leading supply chain teams, strongly preferred.
- Proficient understanding of MRP Materials Resource Planning operating principles, required
- Strong communication skills to effectively negotiate and communicate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners
- Familiarity with the import or export process of containers, LCL, or bulk material, as well as documentation requirements associated with import and export of goods. Direct experience, strongly preferred.
- Effective organizational & project management skills through proven experience
- Ability to manage, analyze, and make decisions using large volumes of data
- Excellent PC skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Team orientation with ability to be self-directed
