Position Summary: Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Retail Operations, the Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service through positive interaction with customers. S/he is also responsible for assisting in the processing and merchandising of items donated to the store.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all members
- Ensure opening and closing operating procedures are completed based on guidelines
- Operate SalesVu (Point of Sale system)
- Follow financial reporting guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked site.
- Sort and hang donated items.
- Answer and assist with telephone inquiries.
- Orient volunteers to the program model and operating procedures
Education:
- HS Diploma required
- Some college preferred.
Experience:
- 1 - 2 years of front-facing customer support experience required
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office Suite
- (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with familiarity with database applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work and relate with
- diverse multi-racial groups.

- Must be flexible to work various days and hours, including weekends.
