Olson Chevrolet is seeking motivated and positive individual for its Service Advisor team. The individual must have high energy with a professional attitude, strong communication skills, good work ethic and the ability to multi-task.
Job Overview:
As a first contact for Olson, the service advisor is expected to greet customers, be somewhat knowledgeable in various types of vehicles, and manage scheduling of services. The service advisor is also responsible for adequate scheduling and ensuring each customer’s needs are met.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet customers when they arrive at the service center.
- Consult with mechanics about necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive work.
- Provide customers with in-depth information about available aftermarket and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part options.
- Answer questions about service outcome (after consulting with mechanic if necessary)
- Advise customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings.
- Create Repair Orders and dispatch vehicles to the proper place for repairs / maintenance.
- Maintain thorough customer and service records detailing what actions have been performed on a given vehicle.
- Schedule appointments via online, phone calls, in-person, and walk-ins.
- Monitor service progress and call customers to inform them of changes in service or to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up.

Experience:
- Problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional personal presentation
- Strong organizational skills
- CDK experience preferred but not required.
License/Certification: Driver’s License(required)
