FOOD EXPEDITER

Job Description

Marthas Exchange & Brewery is seeking a Food Expediter to join our team. This person will be responsible for assisting the BOH and FOH staff with organizing and sending out dishes/meals to guests. This position will require a person who is detail oriented, has a strong work ethic, and can work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for up to 6 hours at a time.
  • Must have a reliable transportation or live within walking distance.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • The position is part-time, Friday & Saturday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Occasional Sunday's also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of Menu, Food Items and what goes with each item.
  • Strong effective communication with the BOH and FOH.
  • Ability to think and move quickly.
  • Responsible for getting food out to guests in a timely fashion and ensuring that the correct items are sent to the right tables.

Wage:

  • Hourly rate plus tip out from staff.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $25.00 per hour
