Responsibilities

Position Summary:
Fueler is responsible for efficiently and accurately selecting and staging trailers for loading and transport while ensuring proper temperature control with proper understanding and operation of refrigeration equipment and other duties as assigned. May be required to drive commercial vehicles on public roadways. This role will also wash the trucks.
Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Maneuver and back trailers into loading docks, opens bay doors, prepare trailer, and assist in loading/unloading product.
- Maneuver trailers into parking slips to ensure there is no traffic back up in the yard.
- Follow all safety protocols including performing safety checks to secure trailer and operating all equipment in a safe and professional manner.
- Use other warehouse equipment to help load products into trailers.
- Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure they are clean and in good working condition.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirements
- Must be able to pass a post-offer background, DOT Physical and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Have at least 1 year Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
- Experience operating yard vehicles, trailers, or forklift
