Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. As an Email Marketing Specialist at Martin City Marketing, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to engage target audiences, generate leads, and maximize client success. Your expertise in email marketing strategies and techniques will play a vital role in driving our clients' business growth.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns that effectively promote our automotive clients’ products and services.
- Utilize industry-standard email technologies and tools to create compelling email content, including graphics, text, and layouts that drive engagement and conversions.
- Segment and target email lists based on demographics, customer behavior, and purchase history to ensure high relevance and engagement.
- Conduct A/B testing on various email campaigns to determine the most effective strategies and improve overall performance.
- Analyze and report on the performance of email marketing campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest email marketing trends, technologies, and best practices in the automotive industry to continuously improve our email marketing efforts.
- Work closely with the marketing team to integrate email marketing strategies with other digital marketing channels for a cohesive and effective marketing approach.
- Manage and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the email database to ensure high deliverability and compliance with spam regulations.
- Create detailed customer avatars/personas to accurately target and reach the ideal customer base for our automotive clients, ensuring campaigns are highly relevant and effective.
- Exhibit excellence in copywriting, tailored to different segments of the sales funnel, to engage customers at every stage from awareness to decision, ensuring messaging resonates and drives conversions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in email marketing, preferably in the automotive industry or a related field.
- Proficient in email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, or similar.
- Strong understanding of HTML/CSS for email design and development.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with email marketing metrics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of GDPR and other email compliance regulations.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Understanding of UX design principles recommended, to enhance the effectiveness of email marketing through improved user experience.
