POSITION SUMMARY

The Digital Advertising Coordinator is responsible for assisting the media team with research, execution, management/monitoring, optimization, reporting on, and analysis of advertising content in effective and efficient digital media platforms, including paid search, social, programmatic display/video, and email campaigns. This position is responsible for the performance of digital media, as well as some traditional or non-digital media.

The Digital Advertising Coordinator collaborates with the Media and Account teams to ensure media, both traditional and digital, is placed to best match client goals and budget through carefully calculated plans built on research and analytical models. Ongoing education is required to ensure that this position remains current with dynamic changes in the media environment, as well as all emerging messaging platforms, providing the company with a competitive advantage.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in digital advertising with High School Diploma/GED OR bachelor’s degree in communications, business, advertising, sales, marketing, data science, analytics, or related field
  • Self-motivated; able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Highly detail-oriented, precise, and organized
  • Strategic and critical thinker; problem solver
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, handling multiple tasks concurrently
  • Comfortable with face-to-face, phone, and email communication
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Competent proofreading skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in paid digital media planning, placement, and analysis
  • One or more years of experience in an advertising or marketing agency
  • One or more years of experience with Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Advertising, and/or other programmatic platforms
  • Certification(s) in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, Microsoft Advertising, and/or other relevant advertising platforms
  • One or more years of experience with Google Analytics and campaign performance analysis/attribution
  • One or more years of experience with data analysis and dashboarding
  • Excellent writing, reporting, and proofreading skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Media

  • Assist with the creation of media proposals and orders, researching and making suggestions regarding use of media based upon strategies and budgets
  • Execute approved media proposals, accurately and timely
  • Distribute final production/content to media partners and platforms, accurately and timely
  • Provide support with non-digital and/or traditional media
  • Create, maintain, and update internal and external reports on media campaigns with uncompromised attention to accuracy
  • Continually study and research of new media opportunities, current trends, and platforms

Administrative

  • Work with Project Manager to ensure all media deliverables and deadlines are accurately tracked in project management software
  • Work with Office Manager to ensure all media budgets are accurately tracked, reconcile vendor invoices against orders/plans to ensure accuracy, and as needed resolve discrepancies/issues
  • Work with Accounts team to ensure all media schedules are accurately tracked in client calendars and materials
  • Assist with client meeting preparation as assigned
  • Research and prepare for client to review new media opportunities as assigned

Miscellaneous

  • Adhere to strict internal and external deadlines
  • Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean workspace and facility, both physically and digitally
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally as needed
  • Answer phone calls as needed
  • Proofread accurately and consistently
  • Other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employee must be able to:

  • Sit at desk and look at a computer screen for several hours at a time on a regular basis
  • Travel as necessary in order to perform the essential functions of the position
