Position Summary
Responsible for operating a variety of off-road trucks and equipment utilized in aggregates/mining sites. Primarily using the Dozer and Excavator.
Requirements
- Perform daily inspections of the vehicle
- Observe visual and auditory signals during vehicle operation
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Dozer, excavator, and loaders experience required
Minimum Education and Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
Physical Requirements & Conditions
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and seasons
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
