Martin's is seeking a Deli Manager to join our team.
Deli Manager Responsibilities:
- Ensure positive front counter, delivery and catering customer service
- Recruit, hire, and train deli employees
- Monitor quality control of deli items
- Inventory monitoring to include sales, cost, pricing and purchasing
- Maintain State and Local health codes, safety and operation practices
Deli Manager Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree or some college required, bachelor's degree preferred; may substitute experience for education. Culinary degree is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years working in a restaurant or for a catering business. Catering and event planning is preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Responsible Vendor Certification and State food safety certification (NOTE: May be obtained after hire)
- Skills: Typing, PC/Windows, reading, writing, calculating, answering multiple phone lines and ability to use general deli equipment
- Team leader
